College Scholarship Application Researchers in South Africa should be used in higher education or research institute recognized as the University,university of technology or science council in South Africa. Researchers from both countries should have a PhD.
Joint research project proposals will be submitted to the authorities in both countries for the evaluation, the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) in Zambia and the National Research Foundation in South Africa (NRF).
College Scholarship Application Evaluation will be conducted in accordance with the following criteria:
-Scientific and technical services;
-Impact on the bilateral relations of science and technology;
-The significance for both countries;
The potential to create a research and development capacity-;
-The quality and clarity of presentation of the project;-Methodology, and
-Suitability and feasibility
successful projects in South Africa will be funded up to a maximum amount of R200 000 over two years. Zambia project will receive the equivalent in their national currency (Zambia Kwacha). Therefore, College Scholarship Application researchers have noted that two separate budgets for a maximum of R100 000 (per year) will be required from each side. Researchers should note that they will be responsible for their own subsistence international, travel and accommodation.

Postdoc College Scholarship Application Position in Mathematics ‘Dynamical Systems’

The College Scholarship Application candidate is expected to conduct, as a member of the research group on Dynamical Systems, theoretical research in the context of singularly perturbed vector fields, with attention to applications in mathematical biology.

The College Scholarship Application position is part of the FWO-project G.0939.10N. The chosen candidate will collaborate with different members of the group, as well as with the co-advisor of the project N. Popovic (University of Edinburgh). Doctorate Scholarships application in Economics

The Research Unit of Health Economics at The University of Southern Denmark is advertising two PhD scholarships to be filled as soon as possible. The two positions are part of a research project entitled ‘Hospital of the Future’ funded by The Danish Strategic Research Council.Hospital of the Future’ is a research consortium with researchers from the University Of Southern Denmark, Danish Institute of Health Services Research and Copenhagen Business School. The Research Unit of Health Economics at University of Southern Denmark is the leading and largest group of health economists in Denmark with a good publication record.The successful applicant for a PhD scholarship has demonstrated research potential as reflected by for instance the grades obtained and master’s thesis. Applicants are expected to have an educational background in economics or business economics/management science/operations research at a master’s level.

The PhD scholarships can either be accomplished in terms of the so-called 5+3 model or the 4+4 model. Scholarships according to the 5+3 model can be given to applicants with a master’s degree and have a duration of 3 years. Now that baseball season’s in full swing, it may be the perfect time for you baseball players out there to consider how to supplement your financial aid packages. Baseball scholarships are more common that many other sports scholarships, and the American Legion is one of the biggest providers of awards in the sport. If you’re on an American Legion team, make sure you’re aware of this week’s Scholarship of the Week—the American Legion Baseball Scholarship.

Although applicants must be nominated for this award by their team managers or coaches, it doesn’t hurt to know what you’re eligible for if you think you excel in not only the sport, but in the other qualities lauded by the Legion: leadership, service, discipline, and impressive academics. If you think you’d be a good candidate, consider talking to your team leaders to make sure they’re aware of the awards available and that you’re interested in getting your name out there for scholarship contention. If you’re not on an American Legion team but are decent on the diamond, know that there are numerous awards out there targeting baseball players.

Prize:

Award amounts vary, but the Legion awards more than $20,000 in scholarships annually. Scholarship awards also vary based on annual interest in the award.

Qualified applicants must have graduated from high school and be on a 2010 roster of a team affiliated with an American Legion post.
